When I take on human form, I am wrathful in appearance

In my six armed form, I add the axe and the mala.

My true form is in the depths of space,
The vast reaches of silence
But with the sound of HUM I emerge,
in the form of a spinning black vajra edged in gold
Around me are HUMS like beads on a string
Spinning, exploding, shooting blue pearls of light
in every direction.

I am called by many names.
As Nairatmya, I am the dark face of the Void
the waves upon the lightless ocean
I am the crow-headed goddess, flying high
my feathers in black, green, blue, and purple
I am the black goddess of death
holding the world in my arms
as I return to the deep waters
I am the mother who brings forth children from dark nothingness
who watches their lives and their deaths.

I am a wrathful emanation of Vajra Dakini,
she of rainbow crystal
Yet I am also her origin out of the dark void.
I dance with my bhairava
to the drumbeats of the heart of the universe
And from our dance come millions of whirling comets
Who form the guardians of the vajra worlds
When the dance is stopped, the comets return
And the universe is re-absorbed into our footsteps.

I create from the void and call things back to return
I tear apart form and attachment
My nails tear bonds to ribbons
which dance in the winds of prana
Those are my prayer-flags, and the banners of my warriors
They scatter the shreds of karma
before the winds of the Void
To create the dances of the worlds

I may be of help to the aspirant, but I am dangerous
For I will take away all he possesses
If he gives them up gladly,
we will dance together in their ashes
But if he clings to them
He will lose his mind and his heart.

I seek only beings ready for full liberation
Leave all behind and we will find beauty
In the emptiness that remains.

Blood Vessel - Rue Morgue crewing up for fundraisers and Burning Man

The Blood Vessel - Rue Morgue is crewing up for our fundraisers and for Burning Man. We need lovelies for Camp Manager, LNT Mgr, press liaisons, bar tending, Blood Vessel Hotties, Pal Bearers and more.

For those unaware of the Blood Vessel - Rue Morgue, its an art project involving the Blood Vessel art car with the goal of taking hand made art coffins to Burning Man's Temple burn. People make origami cranes at the Rue Morgue camp. The cranes have the well wishes of the departed to be taken inside the coffins to be burned.

We celebrate the death as well as the life and help people release the pain they have inside. Our 25 foot coffin trailer towed by the hearse "Clarice" carries the party fun part of what we do, dance our asses off!

This is a 3-day camping event with three different stages that will run non-stop. We have a cast of over 80 djs playing this event being flown in from all over the country. Two stages will play Trance/DnB/House/Breaks. The 3rd stage will play nothing but psytrance it’s a beautiful outdoor stage with some wild deco and video projections by Dr. Spook both nights. A huge bonfire right on the psytrance stage. Psytrance stage sits mountaintop away from the other two stages. Check out the full line up at either of these two sites.

Deerfield’s is an exquisite 940-acre family-owned wilderness retreat complete with incredible ponds, creeks, apple orchards, forests, wildlife and hiking trails. This is a LEAVE NO TRACE EVENT!!!! Please respect the land and remove everything you bring in (including all trash) when you leave!

Camping is free Friday and Saturday nights, if you are interested in camping Sunday night there is a land usage fee of $20.00 per person. This fee can be paid to the land owners when you are onsite.

Please do not set up any camping or sleeping on the lakeside stage. This is a great place to visit but sleeping there is not permitted.

Gate hours are 3pm til 11pm Friday, 8am til 10pm Saturday. If you need to be let in at anytime other than the gate hours please email Thosepeople@gmail.com to set up a time to meet at the gate.

• A modern Samhain celebration •

In pagan times, Samhain was the most sacred night on the calendar, signifying the beginning of winter and the start of a new year. It was one last celebration before winter set in - a time of new beginnings, the seed whispering under the soil. This was the night on which the Great Veil thinned, letting spirits, monsters, and faeries walk the Earth. Mortals wore costumes, and danced the night away around a bonfire, lest they be spotted and spirited away, never to be seen again.

Then the religions of fear came, and Samhain was turned into a pale shadow of its former self. What once had been of a celebration of life and rebirth became a festival of the dead. Now we intend to take this sacred night back and restore it to what it once was, with a few modern updates.

We may have replaced the traditional bonfire and drums for blacklights and a sound system, but the underlying ritual is the same. Come and cleanse your soul, move your body, and welcome in winter from the dance floor.

In 1994 Ghreg got his first taste of the emerging sounds of Trance and within two years began composing his own material in his small bedroom studio. Over the next few years his distinctive sound, heavily influenced by his passion for Industrial Music from the 1980s, IDM from the early 90s and Dark Ambient, evolved and found its way into parties and festivals throughout the United States and the World. Festivals he has performed at include the Ypy Poty Festival on the Ubatamarium Beach in Brazil in February 2002, the Phoenix Festival in Portland Oregon in July 2002, and the AsOne Festival in Eugene Oregon in the summer of 2003.

Over the years Ghreg On Earth, also known as Phosphene (a studio side project for experimental trancescapes and ambient modes), has had numerous releases on labels such as USTA (Israel), TimeCode (South Africa), Soular Records (USA), & Spectral Concepts (USA). Upcoming releases are scheduled for InnerSound/Ipsyde (Italy), Spontaneous Aerobics (Germany) & Mistress Of Evil (USA). Mubali is a psychedelic trance dj/producer living a couple hours outside San Francisco, California.
He has been a dj for several years and his styles have varied during the course of the past few years... He mainly spins Psychedelic Trance and occasionally Drum & Bass/ Jungle.
He will have his first three releases coming up on the Mistress of Evil label, on Illumination Records and on the second compilation from Trishula Records "Mushy Mystery". Later in 2005 he will release his debut album with Trishula Records. He was a violist for 7 years in his adolescence and has been a fan of all types of music, instrumental and non... He is a big fan of all types of psychedelic music, as well as funk, jazz, rock, and heavy metal.... He has found that in electronic dance music, a lot of the structure is similar to classical music. He also has been researching a lot of classical music to use as structural inspiration for his own pieces...

Fractal Cowboys ? Mistress of Evil

Donning their Electromagnetic Trans linguistic Helmets, our heroes wait with white knuckles and sweaty brows. It is 1am and the maddening thuds dig into their chakras as they gyrate uncontrollably. The two-step is a complicated dance, especially when two feet are involved! All the cowboys' cousins and all the cowboys' sheeps have arrived at the barnyard hoedown. They are wondering if the Tractor Cowboys will be playing Country music, or Western. But alas, our heroes know well that their time has come.

It is now 1:15am and time for our 'boys to take the stage. The cows stop mooing. The bubbas stop having sex with the sheep. The oil wells stop pumping. All cowboy hats are tipped to the two in the spotlight, behind the chicken wire.

Truth be told, they had been playing both Country AND Western until just recently. Then one night while tipping cows, they saw a Bigfoot. They followed it across the field and into the woods before they noticed a large, saucer-shaped craft hovering just 6 feet above their heads. A ghost flutters near a corpse which has re-animated. As several vampires and a black dragon close in on our heroes, a sudden, brilliant flash of light blinds the Tractor Cowboys.

As their vision returns, they see Jesus in a hand basket streaking toward them.

"Jesus Christ!" the fractured cowboys scream.

He just smiles and says, "I'm goin' to Hell, you want to join me?"

Their knuckles turn white and their brows begin to sweat.

"Just kidding!"

And with one swish of his hand, Jesus turned those dirty monsters into noxious shrubs.

The frazzled cowpokes fell to their knees and said, "Thank you, Jesus!"

Then Jesus turned into Captain Zorbak of Alpha Centauri Prime (Galaktik Federation) and said unto them:

"Take these strange sounds and arrange them in a harmonious manner. Add a throbbing beat so people can dance to it. Change your name from the Tractor Cowboys to the Fractal Cowboys. And for galaxy's sake, change your pants! You look like you've seen a ghost or something!"

And this is how the Fractal Cowboys were born!

High School pranks

I know some of you may have seen this in an earlier post, but here goes. Last year I put my old principal in the gay personals as a prank. This year, upon seeing someone TP the school po-po's house with 90 rolls on Halloween, I realized that I need to pull a major prank every year. I was thinking about putting bologna on the new asshole principal's pretty truck, as his dumb ass made the mistake of letting himself be listed in the phone book and now I know where he lives. I was also thinking of using the key to the school that I conveniently have access to and breaking in and supergluing all the locks shut, maybe supergluing computers and shit to the ceiling and walls, but maybe I'd better save that for my senior year... Does anyone have any ideas as to a goos prank I can pull? And nothing from the Anarchist's Cookbook. I've already read it, and Operation Fuckup is way too expensive and risky for trivial shit like this.

so, i am curious to find out how other people would define 'graver'. i understand that of course everyone is different, so what has been your experience?

personally, i'd say i'm more of a raver with gothic fashion tendencies.

A hybrid of two subcultures, seemingly polar opposite to one another in manner, cheerfulness, and taste, but unified in their love of hedonistic tendencies. Goth ravers tend to wear black but with flashes of color, and slightly different accessories, generally sexual fetish-oriented. But not too scary--just a tad.
Goth ravers, unlike their candy raver counterparts, don ’t hug people; they pretend to bite them. But in a PLURy way.
